LineNow is the only software in its category with built-in WhatsApp integration.
This is useful in two key scenarios:
- Your team prefers to place orders via WhatsApp.
- Suppliers prefer to receive orders on WhatsApp.
Getting Started
To use WhatsApp with LineNow, you’ll need a WhatsApp Business account. You can either:
- Use a mobile number not already linked to a WhatsApp account (recommended), or
- Use a 555 number provided by LineNow.
If your team is placing orders via WhatsApp:
You have two options:
Option A: Use the WhatsApp Business App
Works just like regular WhatsApp but is tied to your business number.
You’ll need a physical SIM or virtual number (many carriers offer low-cost options).
Option B: Forward Messages from Personal WhatsApp
Team members can forward relevant messages from their personal WhatsApp to the business account.
Note: LineNow can only pull order info from business WhatsApp accounts — not personal chats.
If suppliers receive orders via WhatsApp:
Once your WhatsApp Business account is set up, you can:
- Monitor all supplier messages in LineNow’s communication tab.
- Send POs directly via WhatsApp using LineNow’s built-in tools.

Once this is done, you are ready to click the Whatapp icon under Home Tab > Communication Channels and then sign in.
Lastly, make sure you add the correct Whatsapp phone numbers to the relevant suppliers in the Suppliers Tab.
