Overview
Buyers manages the relationships you trade with. A relationship connects customer details, product eligibility, pricing, payment settings, and the teammates who handle the buyer.
Add or connect a buyer
- Open Buyers.
- Use the available addition, invitation, import, or connection method.
- Review the customer identity and contact details.
- Complete the relationship setup and any required approval.
- Review its products, pricing, payment terms, and manager assignment.
Review pending work
Use the pending-relationship dashboard for buyers waiting on a connection decision. Use the pending-product dashboard for product approvals. Approving a buyer relationship and approving a particular product are separate actions.
Maintain a relationship
Open the relationship detail to edit its supported settings and product access. Check buyer-specific overrides before changing a price. Use the reassignment or access-management action when another teammate takes responsibility.
Imported or external relationships
A customer imported from an ERP may need a customer mapping and product mappings before order sync works. Where the claim-relationship workflow is offered, review the existing buyer and trading context rather than creating a duplicate relationship.
If a buyer cannot order
Check whether the relationship is active and approved, whether the product is available and approved for that buyer, and whether required account or storefront information is complete. Also review pricing and minimum-order settings.
If your teammate cannot see the buyer
Check supplier-account membership and buyer-relationship access. Non-Owner teammates see the relationships assigned to their scope; access should not be assumed from another teammate's view.
