Overview
Supplier Orders brings customer purchasing work into one place. Open an order to review its buyer, products, quantities, dates, documents, payment terms, and fulfillment details.
Review an incoming order
- Open Orders and find the buyer's PO using available filters.
- Open the order number.
- Check buyer identity, shipping address, receiver, products, packs, prices, and requested dates.
- Resolve pending product approvals or other listed issues.
- Use the appropriate confirmation or status action for the real state of the order.
Update products or quantities
Use the order's editing controls when you need to correct or revise the agreed order. Review the change summary and notification behavior before saving. Keep relevant documents and conversation context with the order.
Fulfill the order
Use the available packing-slip, shipping-label, tracking, or ERP workflow. Record actual shipped quantities where the action requires them. A confirmed order and a shipped order are different stages.
Track payment separately
Review payment terms and payment status in the payment panel. Order status does not automatically establish that a payment has succeeded. Use supported payment actions only after checking the buyer, amount, and method.
Sync with an ERP
Check customer and product mappings, the relationship's auto-send setting, and the order's sync result. Creating the order in LineNow and successfully creating its ERP record are distinct events.
If an order is missing
Check the active supplier account, buyer access, status and date filters, relationship mapping, and whether an order arrived through an external workflow. Do not ask the buyer to send a duplicate PO before checking the existing record.
