Overview
Supplier inventory can be maintained locally in LineNow or owned by a connected inventory ERP. The active mode determines which stock controls are available.
Review the tracking mode
- Open Home and find LineNow Inventory Tracking.
- Read the current mode and connection explanation.
- Enable local tracking only when LineNow is the intended inventory owner and the control allows it.
- Open Inventory to review the supplier product stock.
When a connected inventory ERP manages stock, the local-tracking control can be locked. Disconnecting an ERP is a separate change that affects other workflows; do not do it merely to make a stock field editable.
Update local stock
- Search for the correct product or variant in Inventory.
- Choose Update stock.
- Read the quantity denomination and enter the intended stock value.
- Save and review the updated product.
Check before correcting a quantity
Review the actual physical stock and related order or fulfillment activity. Check packs and variants so one case is not treated as one individual item. Do not maintain the same physical stock independently in two systems with competing authority.
If the Inventory tab is absent
Check whether supplier inventory tracking applies to your account and current mode. The navigation hides the tab when the supplier is not tracking inventory through this experience.
If an ERP-owned amount is wrong
Correct the source record in the ERP and review its sync status or mapping. A local catalog-price or stock edit is not a substitute for fixing the ERP's inventory record.
