Overview
Create a PO from a supplier cart or the order-creation screen. The confirmation step is where you check the final purchasing and delivery details before LineNow sends or records the order.
Build the order
- Select the business unit and supplier.
- Open the supplier cart or create-order action.
- Add the purchasing items and enter the quantities in the denomination shown.
- Review pack size, item price, minimum-order warnings, and item notes.
- Review tax treatment, additional costs, requested ship or delivery dates, and attached documents where relevant.
Review before confirming
Check the supplier, delivery address, receiver, payment terms, currency, totals, and notification recipient. For WhatsApp, check the chosen phone number. For email, check the order-recipient summary. Reference notes and attachments can help explain an order placed through another channel.
Understand the final action
For a supplier that receives POs from LineNow, confirmation submits the purchasing order through the selected communication workflow. For a reporting-only or self-placed supplier, the screen explains that the order is being recorded without contacting the supplier. Read that message rather than assuming every confirmation sends an email.
In-house or unassigned items may be available as printable lists instead of supplier POs. Review their supplier assignment before expecting them to appear on an externally sent order.
After creating the order
Open the created PO and check its status, activity, and documents. Track supplier replies and review subsequent changes. Receive actual deliveries separately when LineNow manages the unit's physical stock.
If submission fails
Read the displayed error and keep the current cart open while resolving it. Check required contacts, item eligibility, mappings, and your Procurement access. Search Purchase Orders and review the result before resubmitting, so an uncertain confirmation does not lead to duplicate ordering.
