Overview
Sales Orders spans your business units. Order Summary shows product-level sales and refunds from connected channels or manual entries. Dropship Orders shows sales that can become supplier purchasing work.
Review sales activity
- Open Sales Orders and choose the appropriate subtab.
- Set the date range and filters for business unit, sales channel, order status, or fulfillment where available.
- Open the order details to review products, quantities, shipping, and linked purchasing coverage.
Create purchasing work from a sale
- Open the PO or work-order creation action for the sales order.
- Review procurable rows and any non-procurable items.
- Select the supplier and purchasing product for each row.
- Check sales quantity versus procurement quantity, existing linked order items, notes, and delivery information.
- Review the supplier totals and confirm the purchasing work.
Check PO/WO Coverage before creating another order. An existing linked PO may already cover the sale.
Dropship routing
Create a different Dropship business unit for each supplier. Maintain its product and sales-channel mappings so the correct supplier receives each purchasing order. Dropship stock is not received into a local physical-inventory unit.
Manual sales activity
Use Add Manual Sales Activity for eligible sales that do not arrive through a connection. Select the correct sale location and enter the activity. Do not also enter the same sale manually if a connected channel has already imported it.
If an order cannot become a PO
Check supplier assignment, purchasing-item mapping, unit type, quantity conversions, existing coverage, and your Procurement permissions. Review non-procurable rows rather than forcing them into an unrelated purchasing item.
