Overview
Replenishment settings determine when an item needs attention and how much to buy. The available settings depend on the business unit and its inventory workflow.
Set low and target stock
- Open the item's inventory details and its replenishment action.
- Review the Low stock threshold.
- Choose a Calculated target or Manual target where offered.
- For a manual target, enter a valid positive quantity in the packs shown.
- Review the result and save.
Low stock is the point that triggers attention. Target stock is the level you want to replenish toward. They are not the same field.
Review demand-based settings
For supported units, review daily usage, lead time, order frequency, coverage, decay, and safety factors. Use a manual override when you have a reason to depart from the calculated value. Revisit overrides as the business changes; a fixed override does not automatically follow new purchasing or sales patterns.
Enable automatic replenishment
- Open Replenishment settings.
- Review the target and purchasing option.
- Enable Automatic replenishment and read the destination described by the screen.
- Select the supplier option where required, then save.
- Review the resulting supplier carts or lists before purchasing.
Automatic replenishment adds purchasing work to the destination described in the dialog. Do not assume enabling it authorizes LineNow to send every PO without review.
Stockroom rules
Stockroom uses low-stock and target-stock controls without the demand model, recipes, or forecast view. Set these values from the supplies your team needs to keep available.
If replenishment does not behave as expected
Check whether the item is active and included in inventory, the selected supplier option, the target mode, current and committed quantities, and outstanding incoming purchases. Correct packs and stock data before adjusting thresholds to compensate for them.
