Overview
Choose the import method that matches the records you already maintain. Every import still needs a review of supplier assignments, purchasing packs, and costs.
Import from a connected POS
- Connect the provider on Home and add the relevant suppliers.
- Select the business unit, then open Items > Add Items.
- Choose the available provider and correct provider location.
- Select the products to import. Use the available selection or filtering tools rather than importing every product automatically.
- Review supplier assignments, including the default supplier for records without a matching vendor.
- Complete the import and review the resulting items.
Provider capabilities differ. Do not assume that importing products also imports every vendor, recipe, cost, or historical sale.
Import ERP materials
For Procure to Produce, choose Import from ERP. Preserve the ERP material and vendor mappings required for PO sync. Avoid recreating ERP-owned materials as unrelated retail products.
Use a spreadsheet or document
- Choose the corresponding import method in Add Items.
- For a spreadsheet, download the provided template and keep its headings. Enter supplier-item rows in that format.
- For a document, upload the supported catalog or source document and wait for the proposed items.
- Review names, SKUs, packs, sizes, prices, and supplier assignments. Deselect records you do not want.
- Confirm the import, then correct any remaining item setup.
Before repeating an import
Check whether the first import completed. Search for the supplier SKU or product mapping before running it again. If the source already exists in LineNow, use its mapping or update workflow instead of creating a duplicate.
