Overview
Inventory Planning helps you understand what is available, what is coming in, and what needs to be purchased. Stockroom units use an Inventory experience without demand forecasting. Procure to Produce displays ERP-owned inventory.
Current inventory
Use search, filters, and sorting to focus on the items you need. Read on-hand stock alongside incoming purchases, transfers, commitments, and the item's replenishment settings. Open item details for quantities, pack information, usage, lead time, and available actions.
For supported units, add an item to the supplier cart from this screen. Check the purchasing option and quantity before adding it. A recommended quantity is still a proposal for review, not an order already sent.
Incoming inventory
Incoming purchases represent ordered stock waiting for receipt. Open the order to compare what was ordered with what arrived. Resolve item or pack discrepancies before receiving. Review arrival dates rather than assuming every incoming quantity is available today.
Archived incoming work
Use the archived view for orders that should not be received through the active workflow, such as historical orders whose inventory has already been accounted for. Archiving receiving work does not erase the purchasing record or automatically establish a physical count.
Other inventory views
Depending on the unit, you may see Forecast & Reorder, recipe or assembly capacity, committed inventory, and incoming or outgoing transfers. These views describe different parts of stock availability.
Improve quantity accuracy
Receive actual deliveries, keep packs and product mappings correct, record usage or supported sales activity, and count stock when it needs a new physical checkpoint. Review Stock Activity when the balance differs from what you expect.
If data looks incomplete
Check the selected business unit, active item filters, role, integration mapping, and any background-sync status. A partially loaded or refreshing view should not be mistaken for a verified zero balance.
