Overview
QuickBooks can serve different purposes in LineNow. Enable the use you need for the intended company instead of treating all QuickBooks controls as one interchangeable connection.
Buyer accounting
- Open Home's Accounting section and choose QuickBooks.
- Authorize the intended QuickBooks company, or use the offered action to enable accounting use of an already authorized company.
- Return to Home and check that accounting use is connected.
- Complete vendor and item mappings, then review the PO's accounting handoff.
Buyer sales-channel use
The QuickBooks POS or sales-channel option enables the supported sales/catalog use of that company. Review business-unit and item mapping separately from accounting use. An extra sales-channel connection can have its own billing effect.
Supplier ERP or accounting use
Supplier Home can enable QuickBooks ERP and accounting contexts. Use the offered company-use setup, connect the required context, and map customers and products before expecting order sync.
Check company identity
Verify the company before importing vendors, products, customers, or accounting documents. Reuse an existing authorized company only when the interface offers the appropriate use for it.
Disconnecting
Read which use is being disabled and the effect on other contexts. A company connected as a paid sales channel can remain billed through the current billing period even when a particular use is disconnected.
If the handoff or import fails
Check company, context, provider permissions, customer/vendor and item mappings, and the displayed error. Inspect the provider for an already-created document before repeating a send.
