Overview
Metrc setup connects the buyer's selected state system and facility information for the supported regulated-item workflow. Review package or lot identity and the state information used during receiving.
Connect Metrc
- Open Home and choose Connect Metrc.
- Select the state whose Metrc account you are connecting.
- Enter the Metrc User Key requested by the dialog.
- Enter the recipient License Number if you want it prefilled for that facility's State Pulls. If you use multiple facilities, review the license for each pull.
- Choose Connect Metrc and inspect the connection-test result.
Set up the item
Use the regulated-item metadata offered for the purchasing item. Review account access to the Regulated Items feature and keep the actual package, lot, and unit information with the relevant receiving record.
Review a State Pull and receipt
When the receiving flow offers a State Pull, review the state, recipient facility, manifest, package identifiers, and shipped quantities returned. Match the state information to the physical goods and PO before entering received quantities.
Read any shortage or adjustment-note fields and the final submission effect carefully. Do not treat a copied package identifier as proof that the quantities or facility are correct.
If the pull or match fails
Check state, user-key access, facility license, manifest selection, item match, and displayed provider errors. Reconcile incorrect order or pack information before applying the receipt.
