Overview
Clover setup connects one merchant using the merchant ID, region, and API token. The merchant ID and token must belong to the same merchant.
Prepare the connection
Use the merchant-specific token instructions linked from Connect Clover. The LineNow dialog lists Read Merchant, Read Inventory, Write Inventory, Read Orders, and Read Payments permissions for its current workflow. See Clover's token instructions.
Connect Clover
- Open Home and choose Connect Clover.
- Enter the Merchant ID.
- Select the correct Clover region.
- Enter the merchant's API token and complete the connection check.
- Return to Home and confirm the saved connection.
Complete item mapping
Select the relevant business unit, import or link Clover products, and review supplier assignments and purchasing packs. Check the supported inventory and cost settings before enabling write-back.
Rotate a token
Open Manage Clover and use the replacement-token field when credentials genuinely need rotation. Keep the merchant identity consistent with the token. Do not paste a token into an item field or support message.
If authorization or sync fails
Check merchant ID, token permissions, region, and product mapping. A connected status does not imply every item is linked. Read the disconnect confirmation before changing the account or ending the connection.
