Overview
LineNow has two distinct ShipStation connections. Shipping uses API v2 or ShipEngine for its shipping workflow. ShipStation ERP uses API v1 for its separate order-system workflow.
Connect Shipping
- Open supplier Home's shipping section and choose Connect ShipStation.
- Enter the ShipStation API Key requested by that form: an API v2 or ShipEngine key.
- Save and check the connected result.
- Use the supported shipping-label action on the customer order and review the destination, service, package details, and charges.
Connect ERP
- Open ERP Integrations and choose Connect ShipStation ERP (API v1).
- Enter the API v1 Key and API Secret.
- Save and complete the customer/product or selling-channel associations offered by the relationship workflow.
- Review the order's ERP-send result.
Check the right setup
An API v1 key/secret pair does not fill the API v2 Shipping form, and a shipping key does not establish the API v1 ERP connection. Keep the intended workflow and credentials together.
After setup
Review an actual supported order action before relying on the connection. Check tracking, provider references, and any reported mapping issues. Avoid creating duplicate shipments or ERP orders when retrying an uncertain result.
If a connection fails
Read the form's validation error, check the API version and account, and verify access to the required provider resources. Do not share API keys in support messages; describe the version and error instead.
