Overview
Purchase Orders brings together supplier carts, sent orders, orders recorded from external channels, and work that needs review. Use it to see what is planned, confirmed, shipped, or delivered.
Find the order you need
- Select the business unit and open Purchase Orders.
- Use the supplier summary to find carts or orders needing attention.
- Use status, assignment, tags, and review filters where available.
- Open the PO number to review the order detail.
Use a supplier cart
A cart is the purchasing shortlist for a supplier. You can add items from Items, Inventory Planning, or a purchase list and review them before creating a PO. A cart is not an order sent to the supplier.
Read the order detail
The order page combines the summary, purchasing items, dates, documents, notes, activity, and available actions. Review the intended supplier, delivery location, receiver, currency, payment terms, and recipients before sending or revising an order.
Statuses and receiving
The status filter includes Pending, Confirmed, Shipped, Delivered, and Cancelled. Order status and receiving are related but distinct. Marking an order delivered does not by itself establish that every item was physically received into LineNow-managed inventory.
Work that needs attention
Open review flags before relying on an order's totals or incoming quantities. Review supplier-document changes, unmatched items, pack differences, receipt issues, and accounting or ERP sync issues in the relevant panels.
Orders placed elsewhere
Use the external-order email or invoice-capture tools to bring real order documents into the record. For a self-placed supplier workflow, save the draft without sending a duplicate PO to the supplier.
